Oley Valley Country Classic

Check-in and Day of Registration:  7:00AM—8:45 AM
10 Mile begins at 9:00 AM, 5K begins at 9:15 AM
Pre-Register by Oct. 19th to guarantee your shirt.  Some  extra shirts will be available, while they last. 

Pagoda Pacer Races are back and we are proud to be hosting the 28th Annual updated Oley Valley Country Classic 10 Mile and 5 K runs.   Race starts and ends at the Oley Valley Fairgrounds with indoor registration and post race food. Fall foliage will be at its finest on the rolling hill course through Oley farm country. A beautiful all abilities race to kick off your fall season.  No pets on course. The 10 Mile race is also the RRCA Eastern Regional championship.
 
Door prizes, giveaways and race results tallied and announced during event. 5k awards will be handed out as soon as results are tallied

FEE: $30 if postmarked by Oct 19.  $35 After Oct 27 and day of race reg., shirts while they last   No refunds, no mailed shirts or mailed awards. Held rain or shine. Proceeds help benefit the Oley Valley Ambulance Association and Pagoda Pacer Scholarship Fund for high school cross country athletes and association health and fitness activities supported by the Pagoda Pacers. 
 
COURSE:  Rolling hills with some flat and fast parts on a picture perfect course through the country roads of Oley Pa during a fall foliage back drop.  Split times provided at most miles.  Aid stations on both courses.  
 
AWARDS:  Handmade awards by local glass works artist  Maggie Gallen! A one of a kind unique treasure! Over 100 awards for all ages! 

10 Mile Awards:  1st M/F Overall and 1st M/F Masters (40+), 19 & under:  2M, 2F 20-29: 3M, 3F 30-39: 4M, 4F 40-49: 5M, 5F  50-59:  5M, 5F 60-69: 3M, 3F, 70+ 2M, 2F   
 
RRCA Championship Age Group Awards:  Overall M/F, Masters 40-49 M/F, Senior Master 50-59 M/F  Grand Master M/F 60+** 
 
5K Awards:  1st M/F Overall and 1st M/F Master (40 +),  19 & under:  2M, 2F, 20-29:  3M 3F 30-39: 4M, 4F, 40-49: 4M, 4F, 50-59: 3M 3F, 60-69: 3M 3F, 70+ 2M, 2F (5K awards presented immediately after results tallied)

COVID PRECAUTIONS: The Pagoda Pacers are committed to providing you with a safe race environment. Please know we are keeping a close eye on all event recommendations from our state & local health guidelines, as well as the CDC. Masks or other requirements will be communicated if necessary via email prior to race day based on current recommendations.
 
The excitement is brewing and we look forward to our new fall country classic.

General Membership Meeting

April's Monthly Membership meeting will be held on Thursday April 13th 
 
Mohnton Fire Company Social Quarters, 100 E Summit St., Mohnton, PA 19540.  The meeting is upstairs. Enter the front door and go up the stairs to your left. There is no need to ring the buzzer for entry.   Food and drink at 6:30 p.m. Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. All members welcome. Members are responsible for purchasing their own beverages.
 

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month @7:00 pm.  All are welcome

Our Mission

The Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club promotes physical fitness and public wellness. We conduct athletic activities in our community, organize competitions, social gatherings, and educate the public on physical fitness and wellness. We promote participation in the sports of running, cycling, duathlons, & triathlons. We also encourage members to be more than just athletes by conducting a variety of social and civic activities in the Reading, Pennsylvania area.
